Fc Oil Cooler On Fd

Has anyone seen the pics of a fc oil cooler on a fd? I know someone has done it and posted pics on thier site but I cant find it anywhere. Well if anyone has any pics of this or knows the site im talking about please post. thanks

im going to do that with the FC oil cooler im ordering but my friend is going to show me what to do cause i dunno where its going.

Why would you install an FC oil cooler on an FD?

its a lot larger and you can mount it in the center because its long and stuff. works better.

OK. Probably not for those with a FMIC then.



Larger is usually better, but I would only caution that heat transfer tech between the two models may be different and the FD oil cooler could have higher fin density, better tube design, or one of a dozen other characteristics that would make up for size difference.



Do real numbers exist for comparison or is this all subjective?

FD oil cooler fins bend too easily.

actually the FC oil cooler is a better unit. You could possibly mount it behind your FMIC and in front of your condensor if you have a/c still... you'd have to make one hell of a ducting unit to make sure air flows properly and doesn't go around anything... home depot is your friend there.

Yep, seen an FC oil cooler on an FD...guy mounted it facing the ground, and between his FMIC and his radiator....pretty neat setup, but he also had the one d/s oil cooler
