Hey Jim, did anything ever unfold with the austin mini you were looking at? I also sent you an email a few days back with a forwarded email from another mini in your area. I forgot to mention he was including a japan AC unit. Ya know those things come without AC and the units cost $$, i've seen them as high as 3k!!

I am going to pass on that one. Its price with shipping is getting to $8K and I can find a really really sweet one here that is done up real sporty for that price.
I will look at the one you sent me. A/C would be nice in Florida.

I think wid modification the 8 is a more well-rounded car...and you could get more out of it. I would think the mini cooper would cost alot to modify....and you get the benefit of RWD with the 8.
