I was behind him at a light on my way in this morning. I started revving behind him letting hear the whine of my Supercharger. The light turned green and he took off kind of slow I stayed on his *** until we cleared the car next to me than pulled out alongside him.

Right as I changed lanes he got into it and so did I. I was in second gear and pulled right up along side him through second. Shift to third and I started to pull him I had about 1 car on him by the top of third.

After that we had a G-35 jump up and cruise with us but we hit traffic and there was no room to play anymore.

The hp to weight ratio on the mini is much better then the RX-8. Especially with the ever cascading hp numbers on the rx-8 LOL

Talk about a moral dilemna. Part of me wanted to win and the other part was going "come on man!! Pull ahead!!"

I'm sorry...Mini Coopers are just damn cool. I test drove one on my mountain road here in Hawaii with my friend. I scared the crap out of ourselves. I was driving much faster than I had any right to in a car I just started driving. But thats how good the Cooper is, it instills this driver confidence. I was on a downhill chicane, with a rock wall on my left, then the left lane, and then a small stone wall, and then a LONG fall of a mountain. I was zooming around the second S, when an oncomming car (blind corner) comes around. The Mini had perfect footing and great transient response. I took the corner perfectly, and MAD CRAZY FAST. I think the other driver freaked out more than us, but those Coopers can handle!

The RX8 I test drove drifted 4 wheels nicely though. I took the RX8 out for a spin too, and it feels like a cross between my Miata, and an S2000 (those are fun drives too.)

Hopefully they'll give the RX8 some ***** soon with that turbocharger. Personally, I like N/A cars better though...maybe a triple rotor...muhahaha
