Nissan Skyline Gt-r
I am not just talking about the magazines.....yes it's hard to believe them some times. The guy that I am talking to is my best friends buddy. He has a semi built block and head. He is running a stock tranny with a Nismo twin 6 puck disc, other than that it is completely stock, no cryotreatment or different gears.....stock!
The only reason his gave out was becuase during the dyno the front driveshaft that goes from the transfer case to the oil pan broke causing the transfer case to blow out third gear, If that where not to have happen he could have made it into the 900HP range with the stock tranny, so yes he managed to take the stock tranny to 870HP. You know what the funny thing is he used to have a 700HP supra, but then relized that the RB26 is better than the 2JZ.

You guys don't remember Sport Compacts R33 GTR?......800HP to the wheel meaning well over 800HP to the crank on yes STOCK internals and tranny. They are still working on it and will hopefully get to 900HP on stock internals. lol......I am not pulling this **** out of my ***.....It's facts not fiction!
There are plenty of 2.6l GTR that are over 1000HP. There is a R33 GTR here in the midwest that has dynoed his car at 870HP and his STOCK tranny gave out.....wait a minute aren't you the idiot that said that they can only handle 500HP?
That is two well known GTR's just in the USA that have made it to 800HP on the stock tranny. He is going to replace the tranny and will then be turning up the boost and tuning his car...... his goal is 1000HP. I am not going to say who he is......he has been in a magazine before and want's to keep it a secret until it is all done, since there is him and another that are trying to make first place to the first 1000HP GTR in the USA. Don't worry though you will all be seing him in the magazines soon and then you will have to look at this thread again and realize how stupid and wrong you where.
Oh...Just to let you know, Nissan trannies are far more stronger than Mazdas. Enjukuracing.com made 545HP so far on their stock 4cyl. SR tranny. I bet no one on here that is talking **** has seen a RB26 up close even. You guys do minimal research on them and then talk ****.

Looks like YOU need to get your head out of your ***. There have been PLENTY of 600+ rwhp FD/FC's with stock trannys. We don't blow tranny's up unless we mis shift(but show me a tranny that will hold up on a 400 ft/lbs of torque mis shift). I know for a fact that SR20s need to upgrade or else they'll twist off their input shafts. Seen it in person and the carnage afterwards.

ROFL.... There was about a pile or SR transmissions down at the shop and all of them were broken at 400hp and under.. I've personally seen 6 RB26's go poof! and 3 of those droped the whole lower block on the ground in little pieces. 2 of them blew racing me. If your friend is running some wussy clutch that will slip all day long he might make the tranny last a few runs, but it'll still explode very soon if he actually has 800hp... I think you've been brain washed by the F&F guys... I'm guessing you also went strait out ad bought the movies the day they were released on DVD..
O' you should also know that all 20B's came with automatic transmisions. Its a good example of how educated you are on the facts.
You should also research that all nissan transmissions are basically the same. Can you tell me the difference between a SR mission and a RB mission....probably not!
Personally I hate GT-R's it is a poser car. One of my good friends has one, he just like you dreamed of owning one and being cool, now he has a R33 that he makes payments on every month and can barely afford gas for it. He will never see 800hp unless he wins the lottery. Often he talks of selling it and getting something rear wheel drive so he can have fun.
RB blocks are WEAK DICK! everyone knows this Nissans have lots of weak links that must be upgraded to support even 400hp for anyamount of time. Don't read too many magazines especially those bullshiting rags in the states........Super Street has a FD on the cover this month and they say it has 7or 800HP.....hahahahah yeah right the car was just built and has no dyno time so how do they know? Its definatley a guesstimation.
Besides the fact that Posers don't understand the basics in tuning cars they also dream about if they put a air cleaner on then they will get 10-15hp increase so since a GT-R has 280 stock then just changing the cleaner will put them over the 300mark so imagine a turbo and intercooler........WOW must be 800hp ........WHeeeeewWWW GT-R's Rule.........NOT!!! These same type of people ride in my car and say to me, How much power do you have......like 600hp!?? hahaha I am like no just under 400 they are amazed and baffled because they have never felt Real 400hp. I think that is the case with Skyline owners in the states because they got ripped off when they bought the piece of **** so they keep on dreamin and bolstering its perfomance with words but in REALITY........................
I could go on forever about skylines and thier owners and I could also tell you that in 10 years in Japan I have never ever been beaten by a RB20 in any kind of race.
I could tell you of a friend of mine who worked at Top Secret and built a FD with real close to 500hp.......it was a lightning bolt all set up for circuit but still ran like mid 11's in the quarter. He sold it to get a GT-R so he could make BIG POWER.... well at the end of his budget it had right around 500hp.....same as the FD hhahahaah although it was faster in a drag race than the FD by a little that was it. Cost performance is out the window with a GT-R
