its no 7, just my opinion
-1550HP w/out nitrous or alcohol

-800HP to the wheels (so over 800HP to the crank) on stock internals.

-#1 1/4th time ~ 6.7 (HKS 180sx)

-#1 top speed record (japanese car)

-#1 1/8 time (Japanese car)

-870HP on stock tranny (only thing that gave out was the transfer case, due to the driveshaft snapping in half during the dyno making the transfer case giving out, so if that weren't to happen it could easily got into the 900-1000HP range)

First off there is no stock bottom end GTR that has 1000ps!

Also 3rd gear is known to go out at power levels as low as 500ps, nissan trannies are junk. That why all the 9 and 10 second gtr's have dog missions or cross missions.

The fully built gtr's with HKS 2.8 kit and everything else can get to 1000ps running around 2.0 bar. That is around 20-30k engine!

Get off the gtr's dick, it isn't that great.

LMFAO ... To be blunt...Your an idiot. Whoever gave you your information is feeding you LIES. Stock bottom end GT-R is good for MAYBE 500 whp...but if you don't believe me, the "expert" on the GT-R is thecamel350. He owned one hell of a GT-R when he was down here(JUN built engine with upgraded twinturbos and a crossmission, blahblahblah else)

I raced an 800 whp GT-R once....he whooped my ***. Too bad his ENGINE cost more than ALL my mods INCLUDING the price of my car

GT-R's = The ****

Really they are ****... Everything you read in the Rags is just Hype, There are some awsome GT-R's out there all owned by really rich guys or big name shops. Your avarage GT-R on the street will get *** raped by cars that cost way less. They are however good for going shopping and you can even bring your friends along. They are also nice if you have to drive in the rain.

LMFAO, oh my god all that are talking **** are f*cking idiots......lol. Research before you speak.

You guys don't remember Sport Compacts R33 GTR?......800HP to the wheel meaning well over 800HP to the crank on yes STOCK internals and tranny. They are still working on it and will hopefully get to 900HP on stock internals. lol......I am not pulling this **** out of my ***.....It's facts not fiction!

There are plenty of 2.6l GTR that are over 1000HP. There is a R33 GTR here in the midwest that has dynoed his car at 870HP and his STOCK tranny gave out.....wait a minute aren't you the idiot that said that they can only handle 500HP?

That is two well known GTR's just in the USA that have made it to 800HP on the stock tranny. He is going to replace the tranny and will then be turning up the boost and tuning his car...... his goal is 1000HP. I am not going to say who he is......he has been in a magazine before and want's to keep it a secret until it is all done, since there is him and another that are trying to make first place to the first 1000HP GTR in the USA. Don't worry though you will all be seing him in the magazines soon and then you will have to look at this thread again and realize how stupid and wrong you where.

Oh...Just to let you know, Nissan trannies are far more stronger than Mazdas. Enjukuracing.com made 545HP so far on their stock 4cyl. SR tranny. I bet no one on here that is talking **** has seen a RB26 up close even. You guys do minimal research on them and then talk ****.

I like Mazda and rotarys also. I am just more of a Nissan guy. I am not going to like just one make. I am not on here to talk ****.....but when people try to say that the RB's aren't that great, I am going to have to prove them wrong.

I've seen some fast skylines and some fast rx-7s when they break a certain hp value they start to break things. I don't care what the magazine says his tranny isn't stock if hes pulling over 800 hp his internals are worked. most likley hardened gear sets and one hell of a clutch. If you are taking what the us import magazines are saying as gospal then you are very gulibale. The people in japan know the car inside and out they know what it takes to make them fast and somewhat reliable. the car is somewhat new here so not many tuners know what they can take.

the RB engine can be a strong platform just like the supra engine but you better have your tuning dead on.

Before people that haven't owned a skyline start bitching...Yes I've owned one! It was a 1993 R-32 GTR. It was around 500ps on the high boost setting (19-20 psi.) I drove it mostly on 12-14 psi. why because it would start breaking things on high boost.

this is a list of the vehs. I owned while in japan

1 toyota corolla

2 honda vigor

2 toyota supra mk3 92 gt limited edition gold (3 liter engine twin turbo)

only in automatic.

4 kawasaki ninja 400 cc..(same size as us 600cc just less power)

5 1993 skyline gtr.

I spent lots of cash on cars and toys while I was there. that might be why I left with less than 10k man I miss that place. might be time for a vacation....hay RANZO got any room?
