What sucks is the WRX we got in the USA is about 80 HP shy of what is offered in every other market.

I've heard some horror stories of weak transmissions in the WRX. (Shades of the early Eagle Talons?)

It is one awesome car though!

Every Subaru I've ever seen had a crappy transmission, but those were automatics.

The WRX for the UK has just 215 HP. Europe has had to wait for the STI like the US. Europe does have the advantage of tuners like Prodirve that turn out turnkey modified cars.

It turns out that the WRX I ran with wasn't stock...I don't feel too bad, now. It has a full 3" turbo-back exhaust, an intake, BOV, and a couple other things. I was racing him again Friday night when I killed my T/O bearing.

There aren't very many cars worth playing with around here, either. It's not like back in NY, where I could get a couple good races every week.

I know I moved from race central to the richie place... not many people out here race. Most look at it like what do I have to prove... Not that it isnt fun waxxing bmw's and Mercedes... I am fine as long as I dont run up against any AMG's or M's.... but most are standard models around here.... lol raced a BMW X5 3.0 man that was retarded! lol

But WRX's are sweet!

STI baby!!!

You know what. I know someone who traded in their black R2 for a WRX. They gave him 9k for his R2 and then turn around and sold it for like 14k.

I raced my friends WRX and ripped him a new one, but it wasn't a very fair race

Anyhow does anyone know how much stock boost is? I heard it's like 14psi right?
