A guy I used to work with had 2 early 90's 190e 2.3-16valve cars. These were early AMG assembled cars, prior to AMG being part of Mercedes. 1 was manual 1 was an auto. Not many were brought over here from what he said.



I now work with a guy from the Netherlands who grew up there. He has driven quite a few manual trans AMG cars according to him. Nothing crazy like the v12's but still AMG cars. I'll get more specifics from him.



I also saw a mid 90's SL500 that AMG had done some work to it. It was a manual. It was a grey market car though.
The C36 AMG was the first automobile jointly developed by AMG and Mercedes-Benz, and announced the official start of the Mercedes-AMG partnership.
