The truck likes to buck and jerk when the throttle is opened up by %30 or more. If I ease into, it is much better but still there. Once the rpms start going up it clears out and it goes alright. Stop light to stop light it is really annoying. I usually have to rev it up before the light changes. I just chopped the cat off in hopes that it was clogged causing the problem. It didn't solve the problem. Its an 89' b2200 carbed 4 banger...

check timing, and all vacuum hoses, there might be a

vaccum advance on the carb for the distributor like ed said

also replace the fuel filter if you havent already done so.

is the air cleaner cover on when this happens or have you been driving

with it off?
