Welp, me and my cousin took an evo vIII out for a spin today. Went to the dealership, they ran a credit check on me, and some how i was approved? lol... anyways... they want 40k for it. Brand new, it was still in the back when i asked to drive it. We took it out, the low end is good, not awesome, but good. The top end sucks *** for 40k. I would blow its doors off on a freeway race. It has enough power to set you back in the seat a little, but not like the 7. The turning is awesome, i give that a 10. The launch is pretty good too... 0-60 was pretty dang fast. Over all I would say it is a good car for a 4 seater, and it looks cool too. But for 40k, i think i will buy something else.

Could just be because im used to the 7 ... but it did seem pretty slow for "271hp' and "275tq".

keep in mind a all wheel drive vehicle does not squat and doesnt set you back

in your seat as much as a RWD vehicle. I remember driving a Porsche Carrera 4 and

I didnt realize how fast the car was until I looked at the speedo climbing.

Nah, it was brand spankin new. I was the first guy to test drive it. I was watching the speedo too, it was climbing, just not as fast as the 7. I can go from 60, punch it, by the time i look down im at 100 and it goes right up to 120... Cool car though, just not my cup of tea for that much.

I think they are ugly. No way I'd pay $40k either. I'd get a 350z
