i have a 87 b2000 and my engine died it was knocking real bad and i looked at the oil and it was full of metal filings so i sat their and thought to myself i need a new engine and my teacher at tech school said he has a nissan engine he needs to get rid of so i looked at it and its a vg30 i have a rotten down 300zx turbo that needs a ecu so im trying to put two and two together and use the good frame of mazda and the good engine from the z and i wanted to know if anyone has any clues as to where i should start, and what i might run into or anythoughts whatsoever thanks for the posts

That would requier alot of custom fabrication to make that fit properly but i think there would be room to put it in there.

What yeat 300ZX is the engine? I think this would be one hell of a swap. It would be hard to keep traction after that swap. LOL.
