stock for stock not much will compet with it in the average joe price range. that thing packs a good punch. Now to find out about it go no place else than http://www.i-club.com the will have all the goods. its this place for subies and they have been around a while. Imprezer knows some good ****. shiv Vishinu builds awsom **** for subies. so does vivid racing. M2 motorsports also.

to reduce lag just put an up pipe, down pipe and exhaust upgrade 2.75 or larger. Getting a new up pipe will eliminate one of the cats.

What's funny is that the faster STi costs the same as a new FD did. I guess Subaru never heard of inflation.

actually i called my insurance company. A STI is the same price for insurance as a 2.5RS.

Too bad the 2.5 RS is pretty damn high already, too many get pulled over for speeding is what my broker told me.

He said that my insurance company distinguishes the STI, WRX as trim levels for the 2.5RS.

woah.... but he also said that may change and you may end up being screwed like Type R buyers back in the day.

I also enquired again about rx-8, it is only 900 more a year then what my TII costs. and the rx-8 woudl have collision insurance added on.

WOAH

That's pretty stupid. Either the RS owners are getting ripped off, or the STi owners are getting fucked if they crash the car.

RS owners are getting ripped off. I talked with Toronto-subraru-club.com and they told me the same thing. The insurance company knows the car is an STI, because it is listed on their insurance papers, plus the fact that the VIN number will tell them what trim level the car is.
