Ok gave him a call...

He said its a T56 from D&D performance with different gear ratio's. He said nothing really special about it. But he did say he has an Aluminum Flywheel and he replaced the McCleod clutch with the more Common centerForce. Said the McCleod had a lighter feel to it and was a bit more streetable but that the Centerforce holds up better.



On a side note... he said the tranny is holding up fine but that he is considering switching to a Liberty 5 speed now.

He does it drive it hard but he really doesnt rev it up and dump it... lol serves no purpose... He can sit at a light right now start out in 2nd shift into 3rd at 10mph plant the throttle to the floor and nothing but smoke... Crazy.... only does it on the 245's though....



But the tranny seems fine....

It is almost impossible to do a single turbo setup on a V8. Think about it the turbo would have to be exactly the same length away from all cylinders. So either the turbo would sit behind the engine, under the engine, or in front of the engine. With a twin turbo setup on a V8 it is usually two turbos of the same size.

You could always go with the asymetrical turbo setup, just like the new Saab's.

Snowman I think theres a guy on stlmustangs.com using a single turbo running off of just one bank of cylinders....

A friend of mine is running a single turbo on his 00 GT stang. If I'm correct allyou need to do is have a cross pipe, like in the Grand National, to bridge the gap between the banks.

Its all in the headers, I have seen KOOKS make single turbo headers for V-8s.
