On V8's use 2 medium size turbo's will be virtually no lag.... buddies has very lil if any... but then again the motor makes up for a large part of it... It feels pretty smooth. But you can hear those turbos spool up REAL WELL!! See the boost needle climb to 25lbs. Its crazy!
But it doesnt make 1000+ hp |

Custom built T56 6 speed transmission.
Can get the Transmission company's name if you wish. He had an Art Carr C4 tranny in it before the T56. |

he doest dump it at high high rpms. But with the McCleod clutch (however ya spell it) It seems to hold up well. Been in there for about 1 and half years now I believe...
He custom ordered the T56 tranny from a company.. I forget the name but if your interested I can get ahold of him and ask. But mainly... the gear ratios where changed. Not sure of what else was done to it. It obviously has a different bellhousing. Actually he was trying to sell the car for a while... high asking price! 1989 Mustang LX Hatchback 4 bolt main block Central Coast 347 Stroker kit 8.4:1 compression Dominion 4 valve heads (dont ask I dont know on those I had never even heard of them) BXR intake Incon Twin Turbo's (upgraded by TurboNetics I believe) MSD Billet Distributor MSD 7A ignition MSD Blaster Coil E type Saleen 11mm Spark plug wires Iridium Denso Spark plugs (******* 97 bucks for 8 plugs!! OUCH) Cobra Mass air Conversion 77mm C&L mass air meter 42lb fuel injectors Steeda Fuel rails 270lph (I think) fuel pump 25 Gallon Race Tank 8 Point Roll cage EGT gauge Boost Gauge Oil temp gauge Oil pressure gauge Tachometer volt gauge fuel pressure gauge Rich lean gauge Custom built 9.0 Ford Rearend with strange axles Titanium pushrods Bassani X pipe Aluminum Driveshaft 95 GT cloth seats Rear seat delete A/C deleted Rear battery installation there is a lot more yet but thats just what I remember him having... Funny thing about it... It looks like a stock LX 5.0 It has pony wheels (yeah try driving on those tires! hahaha) 3 inch chrome pipes out the back (not dumps) Cobra grill insert 3 inch cowl hood (because of the heads and the tall BXR intake) So it looks like a 5.0 LX with a cowl hood and big chrome pipes... Not what it sounds like. But a sleeper none the less... though at night you see all the damn guages in it! This car when he had the Art Carr C4 tranny in it wanted to rip the tires off the car at 7500 rpms! lol he was asking 28 grand for this car..... The heads alone cost like 6 grand... |
