Heads Up
#1
Just a heads up to y'all. Last week I moved back to Okinawa. I know in recent times I haven't been as active as I used to be in local events and get togethers so I've missed meeting some of you in person. But life marches on and so did I. Have fun out there and keep it shiny side up.

Why`d I move? Better pay. Lower cost of living. Love the place in general. It`s island living at it`s best. Things move a bit slower here. Island time, ya know. Beach parties rock. Deep sea fishing rocks. Just call me Scuba Steve. The diving here is f`n awesome. Visibility is often over 100` underwater. You can drive the snot out of your car without worrying about cops like in the states. The car scene here makes the scene in the states look weak as all hell. Case and point - Dragons car (which I saw driving yesterday ). And that`s just a small slice of what people do over here. I really like it here. This place is awesome if you`re single and love to have fun. It`s not uptight here like it is in the states.
Army? Well, there isn`t much of an Army presence here. Mainly Comm bubbas. But mainland Japan would be a helluva lot of fun as well. If you can`t have fun where ever you are, then you aren`t a fun person to start out with. People in the military that complain about duty stations are usually this type unless they are stationed in areas that are hostile. Hostile meaning you will most likely be killed given the first chance by some local. That is not the case in Japan though, but maybe in Iraq or the like.
My 7 was sold to Blair (rx7passion on the other forum). He knows the car very well. I couldn`t think of a better person to buy it with next to no advanced warning. The Nissan went to a good cause.
