Thumbs down

I installed my Pettit Racing Aluminum AST the other day, and I was shocked when I removed my stock plastic AST. As I was taking off the factory hoses, the plastic inserts all crumbled like cheap junk in my hands. I didn't even apply any pressure or strength on them; I just loosened the clamps, pulled slightly and CRACK!! The lowest insert when it broke, sent a crack all the way up the seam of the tank! If any new FD owner is reading this, REPLACE YOUR AST!!! I'm glad I took the precaution, and listened to all the warnings that I had heard about. My first mod, and the best $150.00 I've ever spent!!

You should have spent $10 on a brass nipple and a tap and you could of eliminated it all together.

I agree on the silicone hoses, when i replaced the the rubber i had to snap every single one and some barly had a seal so they most likely were not doing a thing.
