Well it's late so I visited the savethemanatees.org site and noticed they were giving away a book if you paid more then $40.00 so I got the last two, kicked in a little extra to get the book, we'll see it when it gets here. However I am worried cause it says "new US members" and we already have several manatees adopted.

Goes to show you the mailers work LOL I got one in the mail today and was like oh yea, I need to adopt the last two LOL there was a note in my notepad, but who reads those.

I think why I picked these two is obvious LOL.

PADDY DOYLE was named by researchers after the famous "fighting Irishman." He bears the distinction of being one of the fiestiest manatees in the Blue Spring area.

LENNY was born to Luna in 1978 and continues to winter at Blue Spring each year. Lenny is the resident "couch potato" manatee, preferring rest to all other activities.

We did great on this one, the total we raised was $230.00 I appreciate everyone helping out, sorry it took a bit to get the last two, as most of you know things got pretty crazy around my place (unexpectidly) so I didn't get it done.

Any input on the next charity drive would be very appreciated. I was personally thinking about the Northwest Kidney Foundation. I will give you some reasons behind that for those of you who are not aware.

Thanks again.
