I recently tried to post a series (3) of polls on the Forum in an effort to compile data on the percentage of engine types and the like for intakes for first gens.

It's a big joke over there. When I looked the next morning, there had been alot of people that looked at the polls, but few had bothered to vote.



I'm from the Mazspeed site. That was the first site I joined, and was so packed full of info by serious rotorheads, I did'nt really need any other site. There is a real family atmosphere over there because the same people stay at the core of it.

I think it's because bullshit and flamewars that occupy 25% of the Forum don't exist at Mazspeed.



My feeling is that if you start inducting your members with a required form that will compile data in an ongoing poll type page, it'll be the first of its kind, and perhaps another point of interest here.



I would include all questions regarding engines (size, ported, intake), body (color, kits, custom, link to pics) and interior (cloth vs leather, color, ect) that can be formatted in one page.

Yea, me personally, I would be a little leary of joining a forum that collected that much data.... would seem to me like they would try to sell it.

It may get a bit more difficult but it shouldnt be too bad!



Yeah while that would be nice... it would fill the forum with nothing but techies.... also I would not want to fill out a form for 45 minutes just to join a forum. While not a bad idea to weed some out it could also weed out worthwhile members.
