[quote name='PhoenixDownVII' date='Apr 9 2005, 09:35 PM']Yea, it's cool. I actually went to check out a nice 97 RSP Supra in town today, parked my FD next to it. The Supra has it's strength's in the looks department, but not over the FD in the least bit. The FD is tightly packed muscle, the Supra's bubbly lines are very "Toyota" and give-mention to the weight of the car.

The WBK makes the front end even more "Frog"like...

They are hefty, that's for sure. Fortunately, they have an engine that doesn't care.

Just keep cranking the boost until you hit the times that you want, then call it a day. I'm glad my roommate isn't the typical Supra guy, he actually cares about handling.

Oh yea, how does it fare compared to your car? Yea, being an import with IRS, it does have some interest in handling and not all out drag (I mean, get some more displacement and a domestic rear end if you want drag...)...

Given it's weight vs. the FD and the balance issue...how does it fare?

Mhhh, it's hard to say, I haven't driven his car, but he's happy with it. I set the suspension up for him, so it fits his style well. He has Tein Type Flex and EDFC, so that helps quite a bit, plus we lightened the car as much as we could, and with the widebody he can fit 355s on the back and at least 285s on the front.

I know I can still run away and hide from him in the twisties, but that's mostly just an experience thing, I've had a lot more.

The car dont make the owner, the owner makes the car. Every Supra guy i've ever met thinks HE's hot **** just because his car is. On the flip side, most 7 owners are pretty cool, i've only talked to one who was a dick.

Does that count the "other" site?

Most of the fast (8s,9s, 10s in the 1/4) Supra guys around here are really cool. It's the guys with stock N/A Supras that are jerk-offs if you ask me. Compensation, you know.
