My roommate is most likely picking up a supra, I'm not too familiar with them, so I'm unsure of the generation, but its the one that resembles and FC. My question is, what do you guys think of having a Supra and an FC in the same driveway? Is it kinda weird considering the percieved rivalry between the cars?

I know what you mean about the perceived rivalry. People around my area have watched TFATF too much and think that Skylines, RX-7s, and Supras are "at odds" and because of that, the manufacturers are as well. They may be competing for money, but unless someone from Toyota, Mazda, or Nissan openly said, "I hate that (manufacturer's name) son of a bitch," they're just competing with one another on a model-to-model basis.

I don't think its weird, a fast or cool car is just that no matter who the manufacturer is. Hell..I'd own a 93-98 supra too if I could afford it! Screw the rivalry, if the car is fast and looks good that all that matters!

FD & MKIV Supra is something to behold.

FC & MKIII is no contest. FC kicks its *** in every which way possible. The MKIII is a heavy, ugly car.

I know, and have been told, that they look very similiar but in all the lines that are "different"...Mazda did better. *shrug*

I agree the FC is a better looking car, I just found it funny that he'd be getting that car... he's not a car nut and barely knew what a supra is... he just needs a car to drive and found that for cheap.
