Well, he didn't get it... went to look at the car, and it no longer starts.

It can actually be quite cool to have both in the driveway. My roommate has a MKIV Supra with TRD widebody in the garage next to my FD. Both silver, both fast, both completely different ways of doing things.

LOL, Just what the whale needs, more panelage! The TRD is a clean kit (Go figure, its OEM-ish) though, that must be a fun garage

I like the FD more than the MK4 supra. I've only met 1 FD owner who was a cockanus (that guy selling the black one) whereas EVERY JZA80 owner I've met is a dickhole. I hate their attitudes.

Besides, its just a car. A car doesnt MAKE you. You make the car.

^Agreed. There are quite a few in my area (including one of my friends). Just because thier cars are overpriced they think they're cars are 100% better than ours, and most ricers beleive that.

I really loved the MKIV until Hollywood ruined it for me. Still think its a great car, but it kinda ruins it when the Supra community is a bit of an ***-hole group and every ricer in the country offers to blow you for a ride. If I could afford only one car, probabyly go with the Supra, but If I have a realiable daily-driver, I'll definately be picking up another FD.

Yeah, it's a big beast, but I like it. Not as much as my twitchy, smelly, little go-kart, but it's cool.

Yea, it's cool. I actually went to check out a nice 97 RSP Supra in town today, parked my FD next to it. The Supra has it's strength's in the looks department, but not over the FD in the least bit. The FD is tightly packed muscle, the Supra's bubbly lines are very "Toyota" and give-mention to the weight of the car.

The WBK makes the front end even more "Frog"like...
