Ha thanks. I would say I'm regretting it because I loved my S14 and this FD has been a royal PITA, but it will be worth it in the long run!

Oh that's all done! Ha, sorry.. Been busy at the 8-5 and the business is taking off too so all spare time has been under the hood of the car or playing skeeball to unwind. ;-)

I tore all of the emissions out and the car should be running again this week. I have all the vacuum chambers out and am down to like 6 vacuum lines instead of 30!! HA!

I have installed block off plates from Banzai Racing, changed all the crap vacuum lines out that stayed, deleted the air pump and replaced pulleys, am installing a Mishimoto carbon fiber catch can, mishimoto blue radiator hoses, and simplified the whole setup.

I bought a new downpipe / midpipe, wrapped and sprayed the DP but then found out the guy before jacked it up pretty bad so I had to leave the other one in unless I wanted to raise the engine or drop the turbos... Just want it running for now so those have to wait.

I'm now looking at a super secret longer term project for the car. }:-) This will be one of the demo / shop cars for my business so I will make sure to post a build thread when I get more into it.

So she ran again! Then she started puking anti-freeze..

Turns out it was the coolant line to the turbos so it's not that big of a deal, I thought.....

I went and bought new hose for the car Sunday and went to put it in.. I figured the bends were pretty minor so it shouldn't be a big deal... Well, it is...

I will, likely, have to take the Y-Pipe back off to get the hose installed properly and I have to order a Mazda replacement because the bulk hoses bend and crimp just passed the turbo side inlet... *sigh* I just want her back up and running for this weekend's show!!

I have to take the Y-Pipe back off (maybe) to be able to put this hose on behind it. It's a steel pipe the runs coolant to the turbos from the water pump. The hose I'm replacing is rubber but where it mates to behind the Y-Pipe is right between the Y-Pipe nipples and the fuel rail.. I've cut my hands more than a few times trying to put one on with both still in place....

The hose should be at the dealer today and I'm taking a half day tomorrow to knock it out. I just took the nuts off the primary turbo intake elbow that hold the Y-Pipe down which gives me some play in it so I can try to do it without taking it off. I have to take off the rear intake hard pipe (from under the car) to get the y-pipe off and I'd rather not do that....

It just sucks you have to get specialized, pre-bent hoses! Ugh

Well, I fixed the new hose in about 5 minutes (amazing what the right part will do for you!). Car fired up, idled nicely, then it sprung a new leak.. FML..

It required getting to full operating temp to start leaking so I'm thinking either a) I forgot to tighten the new lower radiator hose b) I didn't tighten the drain plug all the way or c) some other hose went bad.. Let's hope it's not c!!
