I recently bought a 2004 Mazda RX-8 Touring. My previous car was a 2004 Dodge SRT-4. Don't get me wrong, I loved my car, but the RX-8 along with other rotary obsessed friends convinced me to go in another direction. Looking for some guidance for tuning...

Hey Hey all, Tippy From NJ here, new to no pistons, but an rx lover since i first wanted a car. I have now a 79 GS that's waiting for a new engine, and an 86 GXL 2+2 200% stock. It's great to see that there is a forum for all of us rotary enthusiasts to swap stories parts and info. we're not worthy!

Senor Newbie,

Never had a rotary in the past but trying to get more info on them. Last week I picked up a 1990 B2600i in almost perfect shape and I need more SPEED!

Trying to see in a rotary engine could be my savior and see if anyone has ever done the Mazda B series trucks b-4?

Thx

Hello everyone..Names Pete/27 from NW Subs of Chicago..Im an automotive designer and fabricator always looking for a new project. I currently own a 05 Subaru Impreza RS 2.5, 92 GMC Sonoma (V-8 SWAP), and a 92 Yamaha FZR600R (750cc motor, streatched and lowered).

I owned a 88 Turbo II/5mt many years ago and enjoyed the car alot...I sold it to a friend who then let it sit in his yard for the next two years and destoyed the seals... ...Then insisted I sold it to him broken.... anyways...Thing had full compression when I sold it to him and next to none when he had it tested 2 years later...I thought you nopiston guys would get a kick out of that...

Currently Im doing research for a rotory swap into my Subaru..Boxxer engines are great and sound awsome and all,but roteries are alot cheaper, easier to work with and take to boost alot better then even the best ej motors. So if ya see me around,That's what Ill be up too...Hope I can help you out as much as Im sure you'll be helping me!

What's up everyone im Aaron. Im new, well...sort of. Just have a new username.

I live in the suburbs of detroit and love rotary drag & drift racing.

I just recently quit my job @ toyota cause their cocky little ****** that think they have it all.

Im now trying very hard to get into a mazda dealership and have a carrer with them.

I own a S5 TII that needs frame work and lot's of bodywork. On top of that a new engine.

So ya! Long time until my queen see's the road again but it will be well worth it to me.

Well that's the way the cookie crumbles. Just a little about me.See ya!
