If You're New And You Care To Share,
Hullo, here's a shoutout to all.
From Malaysia, running a 1986 FC originally N/A with transplanted 1988 13BT. Recently had a rebuild, changed gearbox and clutch LSD. Two tone, pearl white on top, bronze on bottom.
Hanging around here to read up on the technical stuff.
I keep getting carbon build-up and am trying to figure out why.

Whats up everyone!
Im not quite an RX7 owner yet but im looking into an 83 drift beater, as my 180 does not see off season track time....
My name is Jeff
I own a Small Drift/Grip Shop in Chesapeake VA (Signature)
We build Drift and Grip specific cars (RWD/AWD only)
Ive been into Nissans for about 12 years now, first was a Nissan S12 (RWD 200sx) with VG30E that was soon swaped with a Frontier 3.3L block and Turbo Heads from a VG30ET (Turbo 300zx) Iskiderian cams, oversized valves, FMIC , Strait T4 with custom eagle rods and custom Arias pistons, running 9:1 compression...
My current car is a CA18DET powered S13 (240/180sx) Not much to say about it other than id divorce my wife before I'd get rid of this car...
Im looking into getting a 1983 RX7 for 300 Bux, posibly looking to put a Turbo2 in it or being sacriligious and dropping a KA24DE-T in it because i have one ready for a car that some dead beat ******* wouldnt pay for after being built....
Lemme know if you have any imput on this, as to weather it is worth my time..... Now dont forget i run a shop that is known for doing things out of the ordinary so if cost is an issue to most, it probably isnt to me.....
I make motor mounts, I roll my own EFI, I Build stand alones with ROMS and misc. Mega squirt parts. So if its crazy work its probably allready been addressed by my resident grease monkeys and myself.....
Thanks for listening to me ramble on and I hope i didnt seem conceded, I just know what im capable of....

HELLO! Just bought my 1'st rx-7!!!
Early 1979 gs, yellow, totaly stock (not for long)
Found it on craig's list for $1000.00
It had some electrical gremlin's. The sterio was shorting out witch cooked the voltage reg and fried 2 alt's. now fixed and works great
It has a nice interior for a 79, stright body, ok paint (bad overspray) Newer seat's
The engine has 6,000 miles since dealer rebuild $2,700.00!!!
25,000 miles on a new carb!!! + new brake pad's + new stock exaust + lot's of dealer part's
I LOVE THIS CAR!!!
I feel like i stole it!!!
New parts i have put on are, new rad+hoses, idler arm? (that part thet gets really sloppy), volt reg+alt, full tune up, oil ect.
I found a 83 GSL at pull a part. I pulled the 5 speed+drive line+lsd rear end+lots of misc item's. all this for about $200.00! Will install soon.
Looking foward to meeting you guy's
I met a member in totem lake last month (2 days after getting it) he has a yellow 79 to!
Thanks for your info on this site it has helped a lot!!!

Heya.
My name is Kevin and, obviously I'm new since I'm posting in New Members Chat. =p
Erhm... I'm recently sick of pistons, and I've decided that I want to begin working on an FC asap.
I'm still actually in the process of getting one, but hopefully that will change soon.
I plan to take one that doesn't run... and make it!
I'm from Indiana and I currently drive an SR20DE powered Nissan.
I've got experience with SR20DE, KA16, and the GA16 engines from Nissan.
On another note.. I'm no gear head. I apprshiate cars for the science and engineering behind them.

Hello all
too many toys! now am selling my 92 240SX, and keep my 1975 808 that I converted to a RX-808 (purist dont get mad) The convertion was simple, I found a wrecked rx-3 wagon and replaced all the parts , I put a 12A with RB intake,Holley Carb, RB exhaust plus more, got it running but the 12A is stock and the intake and carb are for a street ported engine, a rebuild and a port job is in order!
My goal is have a clean and a snappy daily driver....
I want to do the RX-7 front struts install but am not sure if is going to work, I already ordered the adapters plates for the rear disk brakes. should I keep the 12A or upgrade to a 13B with the RX-7 tranny?, I dont want to cut the console, how is that people modified to the tranny so the shifter stick out in the same location?
am new to rotarys so I do alots of reading not alots of posting, Andres
