If You're New And You Care To Share,
I'm just getting into forums, but have loved rotaries ever since auto crossing my high schools race prepped FB. Since then I have had my own bone stock (except stereo) '79 base model 12a and my current ride, a black 99000 original mile '91 convertible. I love 7s!
Hi, just joined this site from So Cal. My current car is a 90 RX7 - my third rotary and second RX!!! I love the 7s! Hope to do some cosmetic work to her soon, after some mech maintenance. I use it as a daily driver, but some day may race it....any suggestions for street legal upgrades? All I've done so far is put in custom exhaust, which is risky with So Cal smog laws....

I'm Paul, but pretty much everyone calls me Kopi. I'm in Indianapolis, and am currently in process of putting the drivetrain and such from an 87 TII into my 88 SE which has a toasted motor. The SE is burgundy (Claret Mica) with grey interior, no rust, 78xxx on the odometer. Donor TII was smashed hard in the passenger side (Still runs, would drive if the tie rod on the pass. side wasn't broken and the unibody were halfway straight). It's white with a manual rack and the aluminum hood. I'll likely have some spare parts available for interested folks.
My daily grind (pardon the pun) is repairing espresso machines and coffee equipment. The nickname is a variety of coffee, as I know many people wonder.
Anyway, hello.
Kopi

Hey everyone just signed up a few mins ago!
Im from Canada, Alberta, and I drive a 88 10th Anniversary FC. (just got it) (only summer driven)
I see we have a few fellow 10A.E. members on here which is awsome to see! (only 1500 put to production!!)
Ive got an s5 motor + turbo swapped into it with few nicks and nacks of aftermarkets, and a shitty *** sound system which will get better in time :P (not that important)
Needs a body job pretty bad soon. Wheel wells are starting to rust good along with a few other places.
Just blew my alternator fan belt which I didnt notice until I was stopped at a red light and saw my temp gauge creeping on me... my heart stopped for about 2 seconds. Coolant overflowing from the resevior tank... it was awful to see. Got it pretty hot and couldn't just cut the ignition since it was a busy street....wish i coulda done it earlier... wasnt smoking or anything.... but Im paranoid of having to have to rebuild it or not.
Still lots of work to do and I am FREAKIN' EXCITED!!
Anyways, nice to meet all of you and I still got a lot to learn so any support would be appreciated!!

Hello all
I live in SoCal and have been a rotary entusiast for over 12 years. I have owned a 1988 RX-7 GTU, 1995 3rd Generation FD and have been working on a project car for over 10 years. My 73' RX-3 SP has a chrome-moly full tube chassis, Ford 9" rear end on ladder bars, and Morrison front strut suspension. Right now I have a Tremec TKO 5-speed tranny, but am looking forward to obtaining a G-Force or Liberty clutchless unit. The front motor mount begins at the front windshield line and is radically set back for weight distribution. It runs all MSD electronics (7AL-2) and has a progressive, dual-stage nitrous system. The heart of the beast is a 13B peripheral port engine built by Jeff at Rotary Power (Abel's first rotary garage). The rotor housings are by Racing Beat, the side plate are plugged with steel Devcon and all the internal work (e-shaft, stationary gears, rotors) was done in-house. I have 9.7:1 compression rotors out of a 89-91 non-turbo. I have never fired up the motor. It has been a long journey and I have been patiently waiting for the day I get to start her up. Just wanted to say hi to all aboard the rotary express.
