hi, im jake, i just got a 88 rx7, its white, n/a and 5 speed, and when i got it it ran, but now the damn thing wont start, it turns over, but wont start, and also the coils started smoking and smelt burnt

Hi big jake, I'm gonna go ahead and say that smoking coils is a bad thing.

Engine might also be flooded, familiarize yourself with the unflooding procedure if you haven't already. Post your problems in the 2nd gen section for more responses.
