The names Neal. I actually been a member for quite awhile now but never really used this forum. I have a up coming project in mind so im starting to hit the forums hard. I really like the set up, and style of No pistons. Lots of good people here too. Im a member on rx7 & rx8 club with the same user name as well. I currently drive an Rx8 with rpf1's witch i really like. And also have Hks hi-power exhaust with a THmotorsports midpipe. I love my car to death but... I wanna be boosted. So I decided to keep the 8 and start the search for a fc with either a blown motor or no motor at all. Mostly just want to find one cheap. Then am planning on building the car for track or drift. And it would be powered with a 13b rew swap with a single turbo set up. Lots of time will be put into it and I feel that I have the right people around me to do it. This is not a for sure project yet but it is whats #1 on my list as of right now. If that doesn't fall through I may just work with turboblown engineering and turbo the rx8. Granite I wont be able to push as many HP's as i would like. unless i rew swapped that. But I feel that its too new of a car to start messing around with that. but a boosted renesis with 400whp would still be great fun. Still have lots of research and thinking in front of me and i appreciate all the help i can get. looking forward to the future thats for sure!

And here's of pic of the 8!

Mostly lol. Just be sure of this, have all the money you need in advance to have the rew built and tuned. I had mine built and then ran out of money before I could get the final tune. It's been on the break in tune for 2 years now. The engine looks great and has a massive list of upgrades, but without that final tune it's all worth nothing lol

Yeah Thats definitely a good plan. Right now Im trying to find a shell or fc with a blown motor. for at most $1000. Then constraint on the rew before I start worrying about the drivetrain and suspension. If you dont mind me asking. Do you know how much you have invested in your motor?

So Im going to completely different path. I've decided to go with a 13b rew swap in the rx8. project will start when I pull the 8 in the garage for the winter! Looking forward to it
