Hello everybody! My name is Jerry and I am from Zanesville, OH. I just bought a 1986 RX7 GXL. I bought it for $700 and it isn't running yet. It has a fuel delivery problem, not sure exactly what though. I hope I can get it running...otherwise my wife will kill me! I am going to browse through the forum a little while to see if others have posted something close to my problem so I don't have to ask a lot of crazy newbie questions that I am sure you all get tired of...whew...long sentence. I am not a mechanic, just getting into it. I know some basics but would love to learn more...so I hope you don't mind if I ask for some help every now and again. Thanks,

Welcome to nopistons! There aren't many questions that we tire of hearing, go ahead and post away, folks are mostly friendly and helpful here.



When I got my '86 n/a, I had no mechanic experience at all. I've found that it's very easy to work on, aside from diagnosis (which is what the forum is for!). Since then, I've removed or changed nearly every part on the car, and had a blast doing it.
