Welcome to nopistons!

Why can't you just swap the MAFs and find out?

i think the maf in the other car is also shot... no matter what i do, i cant get her to hold idle... i can get her to run, but i have to hold down the gas or shell die....

Sounds like a vacuum leak. If the MAF wasn't working, I don't think the car would stay running at all, foot on the gas or not.

If you haven't already, feel free to post a thread in the 2nd Gen forum about your problems.

Welcome to the forum brother!

Same exact thing happened to me...

You need to get another MAFS.

There's a way to test it but I can't remember it was so long ago.
