Well me and this Firebird were messing around I was pretty sure he would take me. I had 3 people in the car and was only sporting 225hp vs 305hp and he had exhaust and maybe some other stuff not to mention he only had the driver in the car.

So I was sure Iwas going to loose. Well we line up I peel out hold him off till about 35 I begin to shift he starts catching up I shift into 2nd and he holds his ground then begins gaining I hit 3rd gear and he is long gone!!!



Oh well he should probably run a 13 flat compared to my high 14's.....

 

Look at the bright side they quit making them!

 

It was cool I expected to get beat!

It just annoyed me because he was a bit of a dick about it... he even did a ricer flyby on me once I got off the main road...

If I had not had the 2 other people in the car and so much stuff on I would have been more of a challenge for him. I also spun my tires to about 25-30mph and scratched in 2nd. I know he at least had an exhaust and probably some other stuff...

I tried racing this older like 97 Celica that was all Riced out had a big tach big muffler big bodykit big wheels. He flew past me hard on it so I catch up to him line up and drop it and he did not even bother. So I am assuming he had no power to back it up. He didnt even pass me that past... maybe 10mph faster than I was going.....

 

What exactly is a ricer flyby?

i'm assuming it's when they blow by you with their loud exhaust at a speed faster to much faster than yours. at least thats what they do to me (but just wait until i get my car up to speed hehe)

of course this is just me assuming.

 

What I consider a ricer flyby is after you have already hit your brakes and declared the win by usually a big margin they fly by you like they are trying to make it seem that they won or something. Usually at this point I will drop my car into a lower gear catch up pass them and let off again just to shut them down all together!!

 

LOL, OH like those guys that think you are still racing (after you've obviously won) and speed on past like they've got something to prove.
