No offense taken at all, I agree with you too. It worries me also that our generation has not many positive things to believe in. Everything is so ****** complicated in this time and age, my favorite era is the 50's one. Hot rods, cool rock and roll music, TV just because the hot thing and many couldn't afford it, and life was just way simpler.

Yeah Srce

American Graffiti is one of my favorite movies.

It's about growing up in the 50's and the best thing about it is most of the move is filmed on the strip, with some off the coolest Hot Rod's out at the time. Great era for cars. Check it out if you haven't already.

I dont know about anyone else but when he said track i was thinking road course or something. Not the drag strip.

The Drag strip is a measure of car... The road course is a measure of driver.

Yo guy's listen; my friend (the one that I refer to as my boy- with the matching first gen.) is in the hospital right now. He in serious, but stable condition(thank god). He was involved in a pretty serious motorcycle accident out in Miami over the weekend. apparently from what I was told he was riding with two other bikes and was either being chased by police. From what I was told from persons at the scene at the time of the accident they had been traveling at speeds over 165mph when the one guy in the front lost control and crashed into a slower moving car. This caused my boy who had been followwing close behind to lose control of his bike which also crashed and flew up into the air. One of the cops that they had passed just before the accident said that while she was doing 70mph in her squad car they passed her as if she was standing still. She soon heard the sound of the crash in the distance and saw my friends orange Kawaski fly over 25feet in the air before land there on the highway.

As I said my friend is in serious condition and is going to need reconstruction surgery to put back his collar bone that broke out of it socket and through his skin. He also may need additional surgery to repair a broken and or fractured nasal bone and probably skin graphs to replace all the skin he lost on both his face, arms and back do to road-rash. Despite all of this he is the lucky one the other guy he was riding with, died on at scene. His body was so badly damaged they couldn't make a popositive identification until confirming through his drivers license and others that knew him who he was. One officer at the scene said there was only a torso left to examine when they arrived.

I wanted to tell you guy's about this so that we could all benefit from this prospective this has given me and to reiterate what I had said perviously on this thread about the appreciation both friendship and safety for you those around you. It is my sincere hope that none of us have to ever go through something like this or have it hit home in this way, so please be careful when your having fun.
