Those Srt's really do bug...by the way, who in their right mind would PUT MUFFLERS ON an SRT...they come without them for a reason....any muffler added will RESTRICT flow and LOSE horsepower...dumb asses.

srt-4's are still modified economy cars...... its no sports car like the 7
Funny thing though a lot of "cheap" sports car now a days are econo cars with different engines and most of the time some type of forced induction.

e.i.

Impreza= WRX

Lancer= Evo

Civic= any rice-o-roni

and thus

Neon= SRT-4

'='

Let me try this again, FOR THE LAST TIME.

The Neon doesn't share ANY components with the SRT-4 WHAT SO EVER. The engine is different, the suspension is different, the drivetrain is TOTALY different, they have NOTHING in common except the asthetics. NOTHING IN COMMON, CAN YOU READ ME, IS THIS GETTING THROUGH? HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

lol... Yea I do respect Dodge for what they've done with the Neon, making the SRT-4. Not only is it cheap, but quite beefy for the money.

I DON'T respect portion of *** holes who drive them. Too many very cocky SRT-4 owners out there.

No disrespect intended, but you sound very cocky yourself, maybe your just like that srt4 driver, but you don't know it. You act like this guy didn't have a chance in hell to beat you. One thing i learned about racing cars, you never know what the other guy has, so just assume he is going to beat you and go full out

You quoted me praising his car and I'm cocky?

I already explained what I said because sidewinderx7 said the same thing to me. Read the whole topic. I agree I came off sounding cocky in my original post, but I honestly can't describe how badly he was down talking me when I didn't want to race.

No, the real funny thing is that you are calling the WRX and EVO a "cheap" sports car. I dont think 24k and 30k are cheap at all. Plus those two are pretty damn good cars that can run with the big boys, not like an SRT4 or Mazdaspeed protoge. The srt and others like it are affordable, fun to drive cars that introduce many more people to the passion that we enjoy and we should applaud the car manufacturers for them. They lead to more exposure to the sport compact car scene and more chances of us getting more and better parts. On a side note, i smoked an SRT 4 on the highway from like 50 to 110. I thought the SRT wouldve had the advantage in the top end. Ah well.

the mazdaspeed is a POS, but you realize that the srt4 is faster than the WRX, so if you say that the wrx can hang with big boys, then, the srt4 should. a car that runs high 13s low 14s for 21k, i'd take one in a second

They are still a neon. I'd only take one if it was given to me free. Even then I'd trade it in on something else. Yes it is faster than a wrx. But not an evo or sti. I see so many of them around and they all think they are hot ****. then they get spanked. Then just because they can do low 14's and every now and then hit a 13.9 don't mean that the person driving it can get that. (same with anycar.) when those things are tested the are driven by people that do that for a living.
