Before I post this, know that I absolutely HATE the SRT-4 for obvious reasons, but for the record it is not a Neon except for the body. Chassis, suspension and motor are all different than a Neon. Notice it doesn't even say Neon on it...just SRT-4. Anyway, just being technically correct about a stupid POS that I love to see get it's *** handed to it by real (read "Rotary) cars.

Great kill. I've still not come up to one of the SRT-4s myself.

Personally I think the Neons are cool little cars even if they aren't the fastest thing on the road. They are great cars for the WRX and Lancer gang to compete with.

I told him "No thanks I don't feel like wasting gas on your Neon."
After telling him to watch his cocky *** mouth, we line it up.

seems like you were the cocky one. As for his car, WAS it a neon with a turbo, or WAS it an srt-4. HUGE difference, they ARENT the same car.

The SRT-4 is the turbo model

The SE SXT and R/T are normally aspirated

SRT-4 is a different car. The only similarities are the aesthetics

I got a chance to drive an 04 on saturday. Went to gas it up and I'd have gunned it a lot but it was starting to snow and it was a bit slippery. So when I got onto the main road (in 3rd, 2.5K) I decided to floor it and broke em loose.

The car feels different than the 03. A LOT different. The clutch is softer and needs more play to be engaged. You can truly feel the LSD working and it's very well implemented, but the bastards took out the racing seats and installed less suportive ones. What about a bitch?

BTW, the 03 is like the GT2, where as the 04 is a faster Turbo Porsche.

I do know that the SRT-4 and a regular Neon are completely different, but calling someone's SRT-4 a Neon tends to get their attention.

I originally made that statement in a joking matter, even the people around that didn't know me said they didn't take what I said as anything more than comical... But I am confident in my car, and I know what the SRT-4's capabilities are. He told me bone stock, no upgrades, no spray. I figured he unhooked his wastegate because for AT LEAST 10 minutes straight he attacked me about being scared of his "4-door Neon (quote)." After the race the kid's that were there told me that he has been running no wastegate since he bought the car.

oh ok, it just seemed like from your post you were being a typical ******* to him then he made a comment about you being scared, etc.. eitherway good race and anyone who disconnects their wastegate (especially on a non broken in engine) is an idiot
