I was waiting at a light, when a 98' Camaro z28 pulled up next to me. The two teenagers look at me and laughed. I was like allright lets go. I revved up to 3000rpm, the light turned green and BAM. All i could hear was his straight pipes and #### they were loud. I was gone, i had a whole car length before he got off the line. Then 30, 40 , 50 , 60 and he was still that car length behind me. At the same time my friend is behind me in his car. I slowed down and looked at him, Guess who was laughing now? I asked him what he had on his car.. he said intake, exhaust, etc. the usual and he had as much hp as the SS. I beat the car, not him, it was an automatic. Another one bites the dust.......

88 beat a 98Z28???
what is the hp rating on these RX7's???
like 84-95?
could I get the hp ratings???
Been wanting an RX7 to join my stable...
Really want a 93-95 yellow with a black interior.
But all of the RX7's I have raced where nothing after like 30-50... most of them where the late 80's models....
only raced like 3 of them in my GT... raced one 93 I think in my GT and he got me off the line but I hit 2nd gear got traction and pulled up to him and past him.... still love the body style and still want one though!

it is nice to get kills on the highway but you never know if they are going all out or just bad drivers. if you really want to test your cars and driving ability goto the local drag strip for an accurate time that you can actually compare to other cars

I only tell of kills where its against Automatics and i know its Full Blown race... but ya that is a good idea, I have been waiting to goto the track, but its winter up here in MN, tracks closed
