OK i pull up next to a yellow rx8 and im checkin it out and hes like yah bitch i gots me a rx8 and it will waste your lil car there.. im in my FD remind you... im like dude ur dumb u dont even know what this car is do you? i was just lettin my car say hi to its lil brother and hes still like yah whatever i have a rx8 and blah blah blah so light turns green i waste his ****, and next light im like ohh by the way RX8 man this is a RX7 in case u never heard of them there twin turbo'd and a lil more powerful than yours.. but nice car anyways and i drive off as hes like u cheated and used NoZZ and crap...



ok im sorry but that was totally stupid, and a guy like that does not deservea rotary motor nor a rx8 he deserves a geo metro.... gaaahh people make me mad!!!

what makes them not great? how much were the non turboed Rx7 engines putting down?what? even the TT rx7 were making 255 (im not sure if mazda downplayed the numbers on the rx7...) hp ish..

Rx8 - NA - 232 hp....

Rx7 - TT - 255..

1990-1992 - Rx7 - NA - 160 hp , 140 Tq..

1990-1992 - rx7 - Turboed - 200 hp, 195 tq..

wow. so from a twin turbo setup you only got an extra 20 something hp?

hm.. seems to me the rx8 doesnt SUCK as nadly as you think... just gotta wait untill mazda releiases a Fied Rx8..... you know they will with their "Mazdaspeed" stuff..



i agree.. the guy DIDNT deserve to be driving the rx8.. specially if he didnt know what a FD was...

 

How many RX-8s have you driven turtle? It's not incredibly fast, but they are very fun to drive.

 

The Rx8 is as fast a stock T2 or faster... I've got numbers and timeslips to prove it, lol...



Also, my Turbo 8 makes plenty of power... I have nothing ill to say about the 8.. its not that superstar that the FD was/is, but its not bad by any means.
