big deal the guy with the mustang beat an over confident RX-7 owner...well that just means that the 7 guy needs to spend time and money on his car to make it faster, and less time making excueses...it was sporting that the mustang driver removed his bott. before the race and let him search his car.
Thank you. It is nice to see there are some open minded RX7 owners out there. This board only proves what the other RX7 boards proves.....but of arrogant ********. Most of you guys are so pathetic that you are disgracing your own by running your mouths.

The funniest part of it all is that half of the replies to this thread are commenting on how bad of a driver the RX7 was, and how how there is no way any of YOU could lose to my Mustang. The other half is asking what the big deal is.

Whatever. Its over. He talked ****. He lost. I will take my reliable 5.0 back out to the streets, and hope that I can find another running FD to smack down another ego.

Save the talk on here, just read the other boards this video found its way to.

Also here are some examples from the RX7 owner. He tried to tell me and the SVTPerformance board that DP's for his car come in a high polished finish only.

The story winds down, and the truth shows itself. On the SVT forum, Darril tried to keep up with the thread, but was overwhelmed with facts and a few jabs. He also shot himself in the foot.

Replacement downpipes for the RX-7 are polished stainless steel. They look like this:

Like i said, you would have seen something that shiny from the top of the engine bay. And why anyone would want to "coat" a stainless downpipe is beyond my comprehension.

The one thing i learned from this race is that you can't trust the Mustang crowd Thanks for teaching me that lesson Darren.
So I replied....

So you, the allmighty know it all about FD's, are now basically calling yourself a liar? Come on Darril, use your head little buddy.

That was posted here..

And here is a freezeframe of that thread in case Darril gets edit happy....

Damn, I guess that makes 3 times now that I have won.

On a more serious note, in the name of stealth i have made my final decision on a downpipe, and it will not be a stainless unit, but rather a gun metal grey powdercoated mild steel unit. I do have a race coming up with a highly modified S2000 within the next couple of weeks or so, and i do not want him to readily see the downpipe on the car. Everything else on the car is stock and should appear stock to him. He is not very knowledgable when it comes to FDs, so i think i'm in the clear.
Winner.

Thanks to Mike, aka FoxStangGT for the video!

Jesus Darren,

You still argueing about this? I can't figure out people arguing over mods any damned way. I have a single turbo and everything else under the sun bolted onto mine. If i could get a JATO pack on the hatch of mine i would... and tell you about it. ***OR*** i could take my moms station wagon to the NHRA and run Don garllets.. and ask him to pull ALL of his plugs wires _just_ to make it fair. Whats the point in making them fast if you have to remove mods to race people with slow cars??

Darren, Where are you now anyway? I just got back from Iraq and wanna take the FD out to play a lil. Get me a shout on the (local) forum

LXative - race my FD and you will not need a laxative.

I have 145,000 miles of abuse (that is quite reliable) all stock besides intake and exhaust and boost is lowered from 10 psi to only 7 due to the high mileage for added reliability.

You also prove that beating an FD is the biggest achievement of your pathetic domestic econo-V8-shitbox driving life. You made a big deal of this that's why people were wondering what the hell and you put a lot of effort into making that video that shows your modded LX beat a stock FD by a bumper. Mustangs are good from a roll they have torque and a strong 2nd gear. But you will lose from a launch and you have a **** 3rd gear.

I have way more respect for Chevys they have ALWAYS made more power and the new Slowbra had to be supercharged just to keep up. It will still get raped by a ZO6 or a even a Camaro with minor mods and a good driver. If you want to brag about how you tricked a rare exotic $45000 (1993) supercar into losing by an inch go to the Mustard forums. You picked a losing fight. Your hatred of rotaries most likely comes from repeated humiliating losses. We are not buying your ****.

Here are some quotes from the boards he posted this crap on. Apparantly this guy has a lot of time on his hands he posted this on 20 forums.

i saw this over on horspepowerjunkies.com

Nice even start and a close race.

Great race and video!!! That was a close race. What do you have done to the LX?

Awesome race, but at the end of the 2nd race, you see the LX shoot a small flame out the driver's side tailpipe. The only cars that I know of that do that on deceleration after a WOT run are power adder cars.

that was too close to be happy with that win, id be a little upset that i didnt absolutely kill him.

Well the fact that is says stock 5.0 at the beginning is kinda false advertising

Sore losers exist on both sides of the Japanese sport compact vs. American V8 battle.

THAT WAS ONLY ONE OUT OF MANY DOMESTIC SITES THIS *** POSTED ON

Shannon, whats up man. Glad to see you are back. I am in the central NC area now. You got your FD back together I assume. I will hit you up on TWR when I am heading that way, its been a WHILE. And yeah, I wont be playing around with your FD.
