Well depending on the shape of the motor in his car I say you. But only really because his is an auto.

Now if his was a 5 spd you may have something to fear.

But I will say this it is very possible he will kill you off the line. With those 4.10's and offroad exhaust it will probably scream some in the upper RPM band too. But he will need a cold air intake or something to help him out a bit more. Just remember I run 14.4's and am a lot heavier than him!

**** didnt see the notchback part...

Lets say this...

In 88 a 5.0L 5 spd coupe was tested. Bone stock 13.8 @ 98mph

Now I dont know what year his is.

But the auto would take him back into the 14's probably mid 14's depending on his driving.... so pull him back down from there.

I dont think he will be a real easy kill. It will most likely come down to a few car lengths. Problem lays in the 4 speed AOD tranny though. Plus with the 4.10's he is hurting his top end. I can tell you for sure if you race for top end your going to kill him!!! As a future reference. If he gets a set of Aluminum heads count your *** goodbye! If he already has heads you might loose.... E7TE heads on the 87-95 GT's just dont flow worth a ****. They are not even worth porting really.....

Also figure in weight here... normally mustangs weigh a fair amount. But his is a coupe. So it will weigh less than most stangs. So the weight maybe somewhat close in this.

I dont know the exact FD specs. But he should be at a stock rating of 225hp 290ft lbs. But with his gears and exhaust and spacer and under drives he is back up some. I figure 200 maybe 210 at the wheels for him and that may be slightly optimistic I dont know. But he will be seeing a signicant amount of tq especially off the line.

Do a real race!

Off the line!

No promise on anyone winning...

But I think you should at least give him a good run if nothing else.....

I am a lot better off the line than a punch from any speed. But a 40 punch is my best! So I am pretty good from that speed with my GT...

He is also going to kill you from a roll because your an auto he is a 5 spd...

But anyway good kill for him...

Let us know how it goes from a complete stop
