So I sold my 1999 Hyundai Tiburon to one of my father's co-workers recently. Well I saw him driving down the street and pulled up next to him and he wanted to see how the old Tibby would do against my 7. We found a clear piece of road and we got side by side. The rules were simple: 60 MPH limit and if there were other drivers on the road we stop. He managed to stay close, almost too close, up to the 60 MPH limit. In the end I got him by a half a car length. But after all it was my old car so I had the skinny on it.

what car were you in, fa/fb/fc/fd, to keep up with the 3 series?

and I will put webers on.... eventually. engine is the last thing I am upgrading, next to aero package. first I'm getting the car in good running health, chassis , not engine, then I'll work on the suspension. after that it will be engine and further down the road wide body kit and wider tires and interior.

i have the spare parts to build a 12A, minus the seals & gaskets. so I will streeet port and match port the exhaust on the new one.
