Well it was Friday night and I didn't have anything to do. So I decided to fill up my Fd with gas and take her out. I drove around town for a long time. I like to go rice hunting. I never race, but its fun to rev your engine while next to them and seeing their face when they look over.

Anyway...It was pretty boring until finally I saw an old man in his Corvette Z06. He needed to wash it badly but I got next to him at a light. I looked over and when the light turned green I gunned it. He didn't so I looked like an ***...



Right after I gave up and started on my way home I started to drive really slow just to cruise and enjoy the nice weather. Suddenly I see a red car riding my ***. I couldn't tell what it was since all I could see was red and a big *** hood! We came to a light and he was still on my ***. Not knowing what it was I took off when the light turned green. I shifted early in first thinking that maybe it was some stupid kid in a mustang and I had already smoked him. But No! He was still on my ***. Thats when I got really pissed. So I took second to red line. Still their. Third to redline still their. By then I was going near a hundred the other traffic was way behind me and I had only gained a car length on the mustang. Well I switched lanes hoping to talk to the guy. Turns out that it was a brand new cobra! The look on his face was priceless, specially the one on his girlfriends! We exchanged compliments and he turned at the next street.



Not much of a kill but it was my first in the car!

Looked brand new to me. Only down side was that it was a vert But still fun none the less



I saw a Espirit today....couldn't catch up to it though

Yea, the guy in the cobra might not know how to drive.. but if Joe Flo has some mods.. it should still be a close race.

well the only mods i remember on joe's car is a street port and some exhaust (note: it's all i remember) and i'm not too sure what he'd run in the 1/4 with it, all i know is that if the guy got a "lucky" cobra he could be putting like 400+ at the wheels, if he got an "unlucky" cobra he could be putting only like 370 to the wheels, those cars' hp fluctuate a lot straight form the factory. Most people say it's a mid to high 12 second car stock, and supposively just putting headers and exhaust equals very low 12's if not 11's.



not being offensive to joe's car cause i don't know his mods, his power, or his possible 1/4 time, but the cobra driver probably doesn't know how to drive. maybe he does and joe's mods simply made his car faster, i dunno.



just trying to avoid anyone thinking im calling bs or something, and also good kill joe, i've got a guy in my neighborhood with the new cobra who i'm dying to lay the smack down on.

Kevin has it right. I only have a street port, exhaust and downpipe. My car is not as fast as my other one but the past owner claims a 12.8 in the 1/4 mile. Haven't taken it to the track though. Wasn't much of a race since I was in front of him the whole time see as he started off being behind me. I was just glad I could keep up. As for more mods. I am getting an intake and that is it for now. I have to spend my money on other things. (school )
