Actually he owned me on 1 of the races and lost once. I mishifted, after I passed him, so that counts as him winning when we are like 20 feet from a light? Any ways his car probably had a turbo upgrade, etc. to be able to keep up and/or pass me . I just need to stop driving this car everyone wants to race me! Come on anyways some *** from a girl, dude he was like an albino Carlton from fresh prince of bel-air

Arright my friends 94 Eagle Talon had a repair list that went something like this: 2 blown engines, 1 blown Transmission, synchronizers all went bad one after another, blown clutch, flywheel came apart, blown water pump, speedo cable snapped, motor mounts went, and lastly a snapped connecting rod where he barely escaped from buying new engine #3. Oh and all that **** happened in a 2-3 year period over time, it was every other week something new and major was busted. It was total junk!!

And if that weren't enough how about his later purchase of a 92 Dodge Stealth: 5th gear totally disintegrated, and that thing also snapped a connecting rod but he couldn't escape from buying a new motor that time. DSMs man are scary scary ****, I won't touch one not in a million years.

And then the last day of my senior year in high school this monkey that was in my class decided to rev up his nasty Eclipse GST and break lose some rubber...... Well all we saw was a huge cloud of smoke, sparks, fire, and the only thing he broke lose was his transmission. JUNK!!!!!!!

well i guess your a crappy driver than? using a mis shift as an excuse for losing? and how do you knwo it had a turbo upgrade...they can run low 13s high 12s stock turbo...a friend of mine ran 13.9 with a 2.5 cat back, cone air filter fuel pump and boost controller with 130k on the stock engine and tranny

Well you have to admit after all that **** that I witnessed with his cars over such a long period of time, I have no choice but to have a bad stereotypical view of them. Anyone would after all that ****. Thankfully he got wise and bought a 93 300ZX and hasn't had a problem yet.

I can't knock DSM's....I don't like how many of them you see on the road, but I know quite a few guys who have reliable daily drivers that run low 12's. An idiot or poor tuning can make any car unreliable in a hurry. For the money, DSMs are FAST.

I know a local guy who has a DSM that he just broke into the 11's with. He gives me **** about my 1/4 times since I'm new and suck at it still, but he has been in my car and admits that my car is faster. He doens't want to run me from a 30mph roll on. He says that his car dies off at about 100-110mph. Just incase you get into a race again you will wanna race him up high. Those car are all low end and nothing up high. He cant catch you, My car gets to 130 in 4th.

Your damn right. It felt like 90mph. I never notice it when you drive the FD. It is fast anyways.

What the **** happened to him anyways on Friday? I never saw no DSM there.

What do you mean I didn't lose b/c I misshifted? I misshifted and lost that kinda sums it up no? Also, no dsm can run a 13 on the stock turbo.
