i was at a buddy's house and his brother rolls up in his new 85 300zx. he had been boasting about how much it would kill my car last summer "once he got it". so we raced. and it was sweet. i was coasting along at maybe 30 or 35, and he comes speeding up behind me probably pushing 55. once he was about 6 to 10 car lenghts behind, i didn't even bother to downshift, i just gave it some gas in 3rd. remember now, he had a **** load of time to build up speed and power behind me. i stayed in front of him for the most part, then we got neck and neck. so i decided to shift into 4th, and keep it mellow, then slam on the gas to destroy his self confidence. i smoked his v6 so good. my car = stock except for removal of ac. carburated nikki 4 barrel. he has a v6 with new exhaust.

i consider this my best kill yet because all of the others have been against hondas and acuras.

thanks for reading

Right on, nice kill. I like hearing these. As stated before, I don't like z's.

I like the mid-late 80s Zs, and I'm a sucker for digital even though they cause more problems then they solve. I like to drive like 30mph in a 55 zone and hold up a line of cars and then give it some gas. Sounds lame, but it's funny when you get like an integra behind you that tries to keep up.

Rubber-band power delivery.
