300zx vs rx7

which will it be and why? And lets try not to be bios because we are so in love with the rx7, and lets ignore that rx7=sex on wheels (damn sexy car)

which take the top, parameters:

speed

balancing

issues

What year of each?

The guy I bought my TII from sold it to get a 300ZXTT with a Stillen Stage 5 kit installed, so it was good for around 500 horses, but he still almost cried while watching me drive away. Except for power, I'd say the RX-7 beats the Z in every category hands down, and if you know a good builder, it takes that category too.

the zx TT was the slowest stock TT car made.

sure it can get more power than the 7, but it also weighs a ton more.

I would take a light nimble car with a little less power over a large powerful car any day of the year.

I have heard that high HP 300zx's have trouble getting the power down. any truth in that?

I think the power delivery problem with the Z is the rear steer, but there may be others.

Was the 90 the older body style? I was looking at a 92 300zxtt before I bought my 7. They vary so much depending on what year you are looking at. the earlier the more problems they have but more power they had. Go figure... They are really nice but I think the Dynasty ended when thy brought the Z label back. I lost all respect for the cars when they did that

What went wrong when they brought the Z label back? The 350 looks better than any previous Z, and they've always been bulky.

My uncle was a Z collector. When he was a fighter pilot in the Navy he said all the other pilots drove them too. It was the fastest sports car on the market and a car to be seen in. The new ones dont stick to that style. I see guys my age or older ladies drving them.
