I would go with black and chrome or polished on the major components, with yellow accents here and there. Gloss black as a background is a nice starting point to build off of, the options are endless.

i got abig traingulated strut bar thing, so it takes up a decent amount of enine bay room, so if it was yellow, itd be a decent amount of yellow, im leaning towards blacking it out.

You know I was thinking about painting my FC yellow, but decided on a dark color...

you already had a hot *** yellow car tho , at least i think the fd was yellow right?

I definitely think the yellow that rob found for me is gonna look awesome, plus there's going to be plenty of black accents to sorta tone down the brightness a bit, black and yellow work so well together.

I honestly cant wait, everyday i run home and check this topic after work haha.

tending to the millions of small pieces for the car, they will be painted first, then the car itself, this way I can assemble the car right away and it wont be sitting around painted, wont be much to see in pictures until after Rotorfest

A freshly painted car sitting around a shop has a tendency to attract disaster

Just giving an update for everyone, rob said he might be spraynig the whole car this weekend, unfortunately we're still waiting for the new rear bumper (my 3rd bumper, i hate getting ripped off BTW) to arrive at the shop.

So in cliff notes, more pics soon, and of course one overly satisfied customer.

once again:

rob = the man.
