Bondo brand makes at least 20 different kinds of filler, they are not all the same color. White, green, gold, blue, brown, grey, etc...

and make all different colors of hardner-blue, red, white, etc...

its just that the "BONDO" brand is actually very strong, strong enough that people pretty much call all bodyfiller bondo. Almost a shame that for whatever reason people think BONDO and they think only of the stuff in the DIY body aisle in the autoparts store.

Plus they own like 6 different companies as well.

Everyone HATE's Bondo why?? how else do ya do body work (LEAD??). I use both fiberglass and light bodyfiller. filler comes in lots of colours but i think its all the same?? the only differance i'v noticed between body fillers is the cheap stuff bubbles a little more when curing..

You do body work by removing the damaged panels and replacing them if the damage is deep enough to have issues with the filler cracking.

What about parts that can't be replaced, and if there is deep damage there hammers and slidehammers. most of the time you can get it pretty close to the original shape that way you only need light coat's of bondo.

In other words, I bust a fender on the FD, I replace the fender, but if for some reason a bigass rock lands on the roof, I can't just unbolt it and replace with a new one.

don't buy the car then if you can't afford to fix it right. If a big rocks lands on an FD roof you can be assured its basically going to be destroyed since the hood is ALUM

remember a FD roof is double panel, its not so easy to just cut it out and replace, even if you DID replace it you would still have to use bodyfiller on the welds
