Does anybody know what theyre made off/? How theyre made? better yet, have you had one done and taken it appart?

Is JL still selling that custom enclosure with the 2 8" subs in it? Anyone have it? Does it sound good?

i do not know abou the jl units. however, i DO KNOW that they are more than likely expensive. here is what i did. if you want more info on it, let me know. i can also make it for you if need be, but it is not very difficult....

 

It may be a problem on my end but the pic(if you were gonna post one up) did not appear.....if you can, pm what you did. I'm interested, I removed the spare tire and that space is pretty big, shallow but big.

As for the JLs, I've never liked the sound of 8s...a bit weak and almost like theres too much effort to try and pound.
