Painted My Wheels Gunmetal!

If this damn rain clears up maybe I'll go by Vosko's house over the weekend and take some pics. Otherwise I'll be back in TX shortly after. I didn't need to sand the wheels. I always took care of mine so they didn't have much curbing or chipping. If your wheels are beat up then they may need more prep work. Hey Rich, Hernan keeps saying he'll let me borrow his wheels. He has 18's!

I was looking on a web site at work today and saw a pic of a painted UIM. It got me thinking (I know it's hard but I was looking at pictures and not reading!) I was wondering if anybody here has painted their UIM instead of polishing it. I think gunmetal would look pretty good. I just wonder about the paint holding up with the high temps??? Any ideas???
