im restoring a 1982 maz rx7 (im f***ing happy about it) and theres a few power mod-cons i have but could do without

couse the idea of having them makes me think i will abuse them more than use them

like power windows

now the picture of homer simpson comes to mind

'window goes up window goes down'



now the point im thinking is to make these power windows,

wind-up ones

i know in thoery what could happen but

would you think i would need special parts and stuff to convert them

 

what is a mo-con?

 

you can just buy the manual wondow regulators, and swap them in for the power ones. Of course you will have to cut a hole in the door panel for the handle. A word to the wise, the manual regulators suck, and allways break. Power windows arn't that bad

 

yeah, the power ones last longer
