yes i would never paint carbon fiber cause damn... thats what your paying for really the look. 99% of all after market hoods are just fiber glass with c/f over lay.... but on the subject of being able to paint it that is not a problem for anyone who knows what they are doing ...just wet sand the clear coat off with 400 grit sand paper.... but if your going to do that return the damn thing and get a fibr4eglass one thats cheaper...

Any chance we can get some more pics of the whole car, including wheels?? I was looking at those before I bought my wheels, and was very seriously considering them.

most hoods have no paint clear coat, they have a gel coat clear coat



wash, sand, prime, and paint the hood and there are no problems
