if you are installing an aftermarket radio.... go straight to an audio shop and just buy the adapter for the factory harness.. no cutting... and it makes everything much neated and can be changed back to the factory radio just as easy if the need ever arises.

Even if you choose not to use a wiring adapter, they're handy to have - they give you a plug on one side, and labeled wires on the other. you just plug it in to the factory wiring harness and read off the wires in the pigtail.
