Random complete stranger gives you a lift accross town and than to work!
Last night coming home from work at midnight, the jetta's battery light comes on, lights start dimming and whatnot all signs the alt is going. I park the car and the next morning completely forget about it until a half hour before I have to go to work. I grab my tools and head out, get to the car and pop the hood random guy in a truck pulls up and asks me if my car wont start I'm like, let me check. I look down and pull whats left of my alternator's mangled belt out and show it too him "Nope." I ask him if he'll drive me to NAPA and he does! Get back to my place see what kind of job it was, not a 15 minute one so he actually drives me to work, lol. Than he gets stuck trying to park in the parking lot...I helped him as much as I can until I was almost late and than he was on his own, he wasnt there at 6pm for first break so I figured he managed.
He did hand in a resumé, maybe he got lucky...chick at our front desk is a MILLLLLFF.
