Man, sounds like the day my friend and I had a few weeks ago. We saw the whitecaps, but decided to go out of the Intracoastal. We ended up thrown all over the place, the bottom of the boat smacking hard while throttled back to near idle. We got back in as soon as we could. Pretty stinkin rough, and absolutely no fun in a 16 ft. john boat.,,,,BB
